Introduced in 2009, LEGO®
City set #8398 'BBQ Stand' is a simple set, having only 22 pieces from
which one can build a basic street vendor's stand. The assembled BBQ
stand itself includes a refrigerator/freezer with a clear lid, on the
side of which is a grill where one may cook the food. On the front
of the grill there are two condiment dispensers, one red and the
other yellow, suggesting ketchup and mustard. The side of the stand
opposite the grill, features an umbrella, an important accessory
while vending on hot and sunny summer days. Included in the set is
one chef minifigure, a turkey drumstick for the chef to cook on the
grill, and a red 1x1 round brick which can be used as an extra
bottle of ketchup or a package of any other food item one may wish it
to be.
